Interceptor Latch Retainer Model 1100 and 11-87
Remington Model 1100 and 11-87 Interceptor latch retainer all gauges. .025 is standard but if you are replacing the latch on an older gun or one that is having issues then select the slightly thicker .0275. Installing the thicker retainer is often a simple fix for a gun with feed issues. Check to see if there is slop in the latch and if so try the .0275 and in all likelihood your issue goes away.
Also if replacing the Interceptor latch on an older gun go ahead and replace the retainer while you are there working on it. It takes a Snap Ring tool to replace this part and if that is a tool you don't have ask some friends. Another way is to simply by a cheap one from Harbor Freight or Amazon since you won't be using it a lot.
These parts retail from Remington for $4.37 each.
